Cienfuegos is the sixth-largest city in Cuba and the capital of the Cienfuegos province. It is located on the Bay of Cienfuegos on the Caribbean side of Cuba. Currently, approximately 170,000 people live in the city. Cienfuegos is about 80 kilometers west of Trinidad and can be reached by car in one hour or by bus in 1.5 hours.
