Casa Familia Martinez Lopez is an home away from home for our guests, where the hospitality and historical atmosphere gives peace and safety. The house was built in 1918, colonial style and still has original period features, such as the high ceilings, elaborate covings, tiled floors and marble columns that amaze everyone. We are a family of five: my mother, my wife, our two children and myself. We are doctors by profession, and like to chat, watch movies and read. We speak English and also encourage our guests to learn Spanish but most importantly, we can prepare an exquisite coffee! We rent a room with private bathroom in our Casa. We have been running a B 'n' B in our home for 12 yeas, and have vast experience with both short and longstay clients as well as students from university to PhD. Our home is conveniently located for quick access to the many attractions in Havana and to lovely bars and restaurants, just a few minutes ride to the buzzing Habana Vieja and a short walk to El Malecón, our famouse seafront walkway. In a nutshell, we are a family run business that is proud of our professionalism and the hospitality we provide. We are confident that you will find a unique and enjoyable Cuban experience if you choose to stay with us.
